Art Center Hugo Voeten is a unique eye-catcher located in the heart of the green Campine region. The building used to be a grain factory and now harbours an eclectic art collection. After years of vacancy and decay collector Hugo Voeten (1940-2017) acquired the desolate real estate in 2005. In cooperation with the Belgian architects Wouter Bastijns and Barent Bulcke he initiated a solid renovation respecting the heritage and original industrial architecture. Since 2012 visitors discover a selection of about 700 art works that are permanently on display in this venue.
